Flexchair

Dynamic assessment of Motor Control in Sitting

image1

The Flexchair is a special stool with a saddle-shaped seat that can move in all directions. The stool is connected to a computer by means of a sensor providing motion analysis of the lower back and the pelvis to gain insight into muscle / motor control. The patient and therapist receive direct feedback and statistics via the sensor (created by Veldon)  about the movements performed on the lowerback and pelvis. This provides visual observation used for your assessment.

How it works

image2

It is extremely useful  to 'see', 'feel' and then assess which movements, indeed if any, involve the use of your lower back.

With the Flexchair sensor PC integration, it translates real-time movement into diagnostic reports and visual feedback. This assists the therapist in determining the root cause of the challenge.
